In this article, I want to tell about some of the principles of making design of a site that I use in my work. So there you go. First, let us refer to the basic concept of web design. In my opinion, web design is, above all, the way “to get up information handsomely” and to present it to the end user, without forgetting about the ease of perception.

While creating a design, I use the following principles:

1. “The atmosphere of a work” that means correspondence of design with information on the site. For example, design of a travel agency site should have a special appeal for the user. The design should incline visitors of a site in vacation and dispose them to use this particular travel company. In our case, site is advertising for the company. The user should have the feeling of reliability and confidence in this company over the period of searching on a site. That is why it is important to make qualitative and beautiful sites, but more on that later.

2. The aesthetic beauty of the site is the attractive design for the consumer. The design should be focused on the visual preferences of future users, the target audience of the site. Though they say, “tastes differ”, but nevertheless, the designer must achieve a certain harmony, that golden mean, that mean his design should please most users and, moreover, consistent with the content. There are several users who will always accuse you of bad taste, it does not matter if the other ninety-eight percent of them like the site, and they will take the proposal of the company.

3. Faultless technical work. This is one of the most visually noticeable aspects of the work to anyone. It is very evident when the work is junky. That’s why I try not to allow hack-work. Any design element should be perfectly worked out.

4. The integrity of the entire site. It is necessary to consider the mutual influence of all elements in the design. Everything should be visually compact and convenient, and it is necessary to reduce to the unit. In fact, if this principle is violated, then the previous three either have violated, or would break after failure of the fourth principle.

In this article, I tried to tell about my own principles of creation of website design. They are certainly subjective, though they are developed during years of work. So, they are by no means principles or certain rules in the creation of site design.
